PLEASE NOTE: A 2x extender now exists for this lens. If you already own the MWIR 20x 15-300mm, you can now extend the range by a factor of two.

This IR lens is suitable for a 16mm format (12.8mm x 9.6mm) and comes as a stand-alone lens or integrated with a high resolution 640 x 512 x 15 micron sensors. A recent addition, the compact Virotutis is meant for the larger format long-wave infrared (LWIR) cameras.

With a whopping 21 mm diagonal and compact size, this 33-100 mm continuous f/1.0 lens is sure to offer both lightweight operation and smooth transition between fields of view.  Especially exciting is the attention paid to minimize the number of lenses so that the transmission through the lens (T#) is exceptionally high for a lens of this nature.
